Born and raised in Southern Louisiana, Dr. Adams attended Lousiana State University and graduated in 1995. He moved to Florida after falling in love with Fort Pierce and purchased Midway Veterinary Hospital in 1996 where he began practicing small animal medicine. Through involvement with his children showing livestock Dr. Adams began also treating cattle, pigs, goats, sheep, and poultry. Dr. Adams greatly enjoyed the new opportunities and challenges of adding livestock his practice and in 2019 added a second location to better serve livestock and producers. Outside of veterinary medicine Dr. Adams spends most of his time with his family cooking, enjoying the outdoors, and managing his growing show and commercial cattle herd.
Dr. Holland attended the University of Florida and graduated in 1986. She has been practicing at Midway Veterinary Hospital since 1991 and stayed on as an associate when Dr. Adams bought the practice. Dr. Holland enjoys treating her canine and feline patients and the relationships she has built with their families in her tenure with us.
In her free time Dr. Holland enjoys spending time with her family and is active in her community and church.
Dr. Flood graduated from the Ohio State University in 2009 and moved to Florida to begin her career as a veterinarian. Dr. Flood has been with Midway Veterinary Hospital since 2016. Dr. Flood's area of practice is limited to canine and feline patients. Dr. Flood has an interest in fear free practice and low stress handling.
Dr. Flood practices part time at Midway Veterinary Hospital and spends her free time with her pets and enjoying the famous Florida sunshine.
Dr. DiSandro grew up around veterinary medicine as the daughter of Dr. Holland. She knew from a very young age that she would become a veterinarian. She attended the University of Florida and graduated in 2018. After graduation she accepted a position here with us at Midway Veterinary Hospital. Dr. DiSandro treats our canine and feline patients as well as large animals. Dr. DiSandro is especially interested in equine practice and this is an area we hope to grow in with her.
Dr. DiSandro enjoys spending time with her family and church, riding horses, and reading in her spare time.
